Banana is a  fantastic, mostly elongated and edible fruit that is best for those who are on a diet. Bananas came from the  large family of herbaceous flowering plants. There are different colors of banana like there are yellow  bananas (mostly ripe), green bananas, and rare red ones. When it comes to nutrients provided, all of them give the same health benefits that people or consumers need. Bananas have high fibers that help the people  eliminate the waste and toxic inside the body. It has the right amount of potassium that will help your  bones and muscles become strong and healthy. Saba and Cardava Banana Chips

Saba and Cardava bananas are usually used in making and manufacturing banana chips because  both of these bananas are with the nutriments and minerals offered. Unripe Saba and Cardava are starchy  in texture because it is one of the components of vitamin A, B and C with fiber and iron. Both Saba and  Cardava have less sugar content as it has a mild sweet. Because of the rich soil minerals, caradava bananas  mostly grow more in the southern regions of the Philippines. 

  1. Cardava Bananas are sometimes mistakenly identified as saba because of the similarity in appearance.  It is usually used for food products like banana chips. It is rich in potassium and carbohydrates. Cardava is a good of fiber and vitamin B. 
  2. Cavendish Bananas are grown in Asia, especially in the Philippines. Cavendish is basically  growing by banana planters for locally and export market purpose. 
  3. Plantains are mostly found in tropical countries and can be as sweet as the usual banana on the  table. This kind of banana has more starch compared to other bananas. Plantains are either boiled or  fried. When it’s ripe it has a mild sweet taste unlike other variety of banana. 
  4. Lady Fingers bananas are basically small in size with thin skin but in terms of taste lady finger is  sweet and yummy. It has high fiber and can be in dietary meals because it has potassium and good  for gut health as it has pre-biotic bacteria.
  5.  Red Banana is an anti-oxidants fruit with dense in nutrients and rich in fiber. It is also good for  controlling blood pressure and body sugar level. It can also give you a balance diet and good  eyesight.
