Each coconut charcoal briquette burns 1.5 times longer than typical hardwood charcoal (more or less 3.5 hours at a temperature of 730F).
Aside from their use in barbecues, they can be utilized as stove fuel and even in metallurgy. They are also safe to be used indoor or outdoor.
Producing Quality Coconut Charcoal Briquettes
A coconut charcoal briquette is a compact block charcoal, which is made of granular coconut shell charcoal, crushed and molded using a natural binder. The length of the briquette can be customized from 3 to 12 centimeters and the standard packing is 3 kilograms or an equivalent of 130 pieces of briquettes per carton box.
We can also provide a 7.5-kilogram carton box with 105 pieces of briquettes. Other packing sizes and types are available based on buyer’s request or specifications.
Coconut Shell Charcoal
The process of producing the coconut shell charcoal begins with the carbonization by burning the coconut shell with controlled air that is sufficient for carbonization. The output of charcoal in the traditional pith method is just below 30% yield. To obtain good quality charcoal, fully dried, clean, only mature shells are used. Coconut Charcoal are then sieved to the different sizes that the buyer requires.
